Ordering

Questions about ordering and payment

Here is how ordering, paying and cancelling work. Nothing is bought on this website, so everything starts with an enquiry.

How do I order a service?: Send an enquiry through the contact page describing your studio and what you need. We reply to discuss it and then send a written quotation. Work begins once you confirm the quotation in writing.
How is payment made?: After you confirm the quotation we issue an invoice. You pay it by bank transfer using the details on the invoice. There is no card payment or online checkout on this site.
What affects the price of a project?: Room size, the amount of equipment, how much existing kit is reused and travel all change the figure. Access to the studio and the number of site visits also matter. The quotation lists what is included.
Is VAT added to the prices?: Prices shown are before VAT. Where VAT applies it is shown separately on the quotation and invoice. This means you can see exactly what you are paying for.
Can I cancel after confirming a quotation?: Yes, but how much is payable depends on the work already done. Our payment and refund policy sets out the terms in full. Please write to us as early as possible if plans change.
How are refunds paid?: Where a refund is due, we return it by bank transfer to the account the payment came from. The policy explains when a refund applies. We confirm the amount in writing before sending it.
Do you offer fixed prices for larger projects?: For larger projects we usually agree a fixed figure in the quotation based on a defined scope. If the scope changes we discuss it with you and update the quotation in writing first.
Can I get a price before a site visit?: We can give an indicative range from a description of your studio. A firm quotation usually needs a visit or detailed drawings. We will tell you which is needed when you get in touch.
